After you've downloaded and installed Roamer here's what you have to do:

Step one. Before departure, launch Roamer and tap ‘Park my Number’.

By parking your number you link your regular phone number to a dedicated temporary service number. You need to do this before departure and in your home country, or you will not be able to use your regular number abroad. Use our "Set Reminder" feature to park your number on time.

Step two. Purchase a foreign SIM card and authorise it through Roamer.

As soon as you arrive at your destination, buy a local SIM card with a minimal data plan and launch Roamer to authorise it. Authorisation will require a one-time connection to the Internet (WiFi, GPRS or higher quality connection). Once authorisation is complete, you will be ready to make and receive calls with your regular number. To make a call to your home country, just launch Roamer, choose a contact, press call and wait for a callback. The other party will see your usual caller ID. From now on you will only need Internet connection to initiate a call (WiFi, GPRS or higher). Note that you do not need Internet connection to receive calls from abroad or after you initiated a call.

Step three. Receive and make calls.

Once the SIM is authorised, calls to your regular number start reaching you instantly. For international calls, including your home country, use Roamer. To make local calls, use your phone's default dialer. Your SIM card balance will not be charged for using Roamer.
